Fresh Spring look!

Spring time for me is when the trees and flowers bloom and everything becomes fresh for the new year. The poet Arvie Calimlim states in the beginning of her poem called Spring “Its Spring its Spring, Oh I just can’t wait .” That is how I feel about fashion and the must haves for the new season. In this article I will give you the colors you must have in your wardrobe and the latest accessories for this season. Style magazine states, the hottest colors or key pieces for this season vary to one’s taste in fashion. There are many colors that women are rocking for the new season, but Style magazine mentions a list of must have colors for Spring 2010. The colors and key pieces noted are lavender, scarlet, shades of green, and silver. Every women or fashionista should have these colors for key pieces in there closet this season to do a show stopping appearance anywhere you go.

Lavender
Can I just say that since purple's softer sister which I love is lavender! This color can add a touch of class to almost any look in your closet. Lavender, is the best shade to try a sheer dress style with this Spring. As a fashion forward lady you can ensemble this color with ballet flats during the day and strap, pearl-colored sandals in the evening. You can even up the romance factor even further with tops and dresses adorned in ruffles or floral embellishments. The brighter, the better is the rule of thumb for dark skin tones while fair complexions complement lighter shades of lilac.

Seafoam Green
Earth tones are my favorite and can do no wrong in my book of fashion to do’s. Green pastel instantly refreshes your look for the Spring. As one the hottest colors for the season earth-toned basics and complements fair to dark skin tones. For a crisp or sassy office look, pair a silky, mint-colored blouse with a beige skirt and nude patent heels. Go even more attractive by accenting a honeydew cap-sleeved dress with a gold necklace or bangles. While the color is usually designated to daytime outfits, a sparkly clutch and statement jewelry can take a simple sheath into night and enjoy a night with girlfriends or hot date!

Silver
Doing the Spring or any season gray's are a must have in your wardrobe. Gray’s are sassy and more radiant cousin of silver which makes any look more festive. Sliver is a must have for an evening out, you will turn heads in a shimmering draped dress paired with platform heels in a similar tone. Or for the office, you could brighten basic black with a silver cardigan or choose a tailored shift in a slightly muted sheen. Since silver is naturally luminous, it looks great against fair to dark skin tones.

Scarlet
Everyone needs a adventurous color in their closet and this season scarlet is that color for Spring. Once this color was considered strictly for the bold and adventurous type, but red is now a must have for your wardrobe. As a lady that is fashion forward this color is rich, universally flattering shade for different body types. This color is daytime look wearing a wrap dress and beige wedges or espadrilles. You can transition into evening with a sexy, one-shoulder style and sky-high stilettos. Still feeling shy about wearing crimson ladies? Pack the same punch with a prominent accessory, such as a belt or a purse, worn against neutrals or basic black and be the center of the night life!

Accessories
The website "Lifestyle" mentions great tips about accessories for this season .Author ,Paula Thompson lists the must have accessories for Spring 2010 naming items that you must have in your closet to be fab for the Spring.

Brightly-colored handbags
Looking to add some pop of color into your neutral wardrobe? Go for the handbag. Red, bright green, magenta, turquoise, yellow, and orange. Check out some bags that color pops in all sizes, all textures. Kathy Van Zeeland's Spring 2010 line (

Skinny scarves
Scarves aren't just for winter anymore ladies. The Spring season's scarves are skinny in width, light in weight, and colorful ( another place to add that pop of color). This season's scarves can easily be added to your wardrobe. One the places I love to shop is Target. You can find some great scarves at Target (
http://www.target.com/ - check out their "World of Good" line for affordable, colorful scarves under $25) and Kohl's (great scarves like this from the Simply Vera Vera Wang line).

Chunky jewelry
OK, ladies and gentleman this season the bigger and bolder, the better when it comes to bracelets and necklaces for spring 2010. Heavy
jewelry has hit the runways, and now it's heading for you. Go for costume jewelry - definitely the more affordable approach to this trend. Kohl's features some great sequin bangle bracelets (gold or red) in their Candie's line, or try this cool Jet-Tone Beaded Flex Bracelet ($14) by Avril Lavigne's Abbey Dawn line.Wow, I love jewelry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dangling earrings
Earrings, earrings I love them floaty, fun, and funky, "shoulder dusters" are making a comeback this spring. Whether they're hoops, dangling chains, or ornate gemstone designs, wear your earrings.

Multi-strap shoes
OK I love strapped shoes but to be honest this look may not be for everyone, but nonetheless, it's here for S
pring. Rachael Ray's style buddy Gretta Monahan features a number of "gladiator"-inspired styles in her shoe line on http://www.qvc.com/, including these Fringe Detail T-strap Wedge Sandals in Black or Cream ($58.75) and these Snake Print print are so cute!

In conclusion, your look for the Spring should be fun and chic this season you do not have to break the bank to look good this Spring. Remember, you can look expensive without paying a lot for your clothing, have fun shopping!
